Organisations need spaces where people can dream, hesitate, practise and experiment in a playful manner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So how do we create more of it?<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>A first spark<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One possible answer became apparent right at the start \u2013 in a sentence that lingered quietly and clearly. When asked about her motivation, one participant said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201eI don't really know exactly what this is all about anymore. But I do know that I long for exchange, connection and inspiration. And I am firmly convinced that I can find that here today.\u201c<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-250989 size-medium alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.socius.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/70-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>Together, we invited for the next four hours <\/span><b>Longing and curiosity<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>Security, openness and<\/b> <b>slowness <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">as accompanying qualities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An excerpt from <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beatrice Alemagna<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> History <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201eA big day on which almost nothing happened\u201c<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> became a delicate yet powerful frame:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A child loses his gaming computer in a frog pond, despairs at the thought that nothing exciting can happen now, and then spends a surprisingly exciting time with everything nature has to offer: \u201eWhy had I never done this before?\u201c<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Expanding spaces \u2013 questions instead of answers<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Early in the evening, one participant said:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201eI have just realised that the change of perspective I was seeking here outside actually begins within myself.\u201c<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A sentence that opened up many possibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dann wurde es ernst \u2013 und gleichzeitig spielerisch: in Zweiergespr\u00e4chen hoben wir einige der scheinbaren Unm\u00f6glichkeiten in unseren Organisations- und Arbeitsrealit\u00e4ten und stellten sie sogleich in Frage - ist es zum Beispiel wirklich so, dass Scheitern keine Option ist? Ist es wirklich so, dass ich immer f\u00fcr alle Probleme sofort eine L\u00f6sung finden muss? - um nur zwei der sehr zugespitzten Fragen zu teilen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201emischievous questions\u201c<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">wicked questions<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) from the repertoire of the <\/span><b>liberating structures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> we got to the bottom of the apparent impossibilities in our working environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our goal was not to find answers, but to expand the space. To question the seemingly impossible \u2013 and discover the glimmer of possibility within it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Invite emergence. And it came.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-250990 size-medium alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.socius.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/71-300x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/>From questioning to designing<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In several rounds of \u201ewicked questions,\u201c we asked each other questions big and small, serious and playful. Nods, frowns, sparkling eyes \u2013 each face told its own story.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then we expressed what we had experienced:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What feelings, colours and movements do you perceive within yourself? What essence is revealed in the questions?\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With feathers, photographs, paint and imagination, images of a future where \u201esomething completely different is possible\u201c were created.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>And after that?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201ePerseverance and effort in processes now feel easier.
