It was three intensive days during which we, together with my colleague, <a href=\"https:\/\/xn--vierfltig-z2a.de\/\">Hanna Kunze<\/a> entirely on the topic of \u201c<b>Value-based leadership<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>What are values, which of them shape my personal leadership style, and how do they relate to the values that my organisation represents \u2013 perhaps in its mission statement or simply in everyday life?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We have based our approach on <a href=\"https:\/\/i-m-u.de\/integrale-landkarte-nachhaltigkeit-und-regeneratives-wirtschaften\/\">Spiral Dynamics <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reinventingorganizations.com\/\">Reinventing organisations<\/a> We approached the topic of \u201eself-organisation and leadership\u201c and asked ourselves questions such as: \u201cWhere would I place my organisation with its understanding of leadership and structural model?\u201c \u2013 \u201cRed, blue, orange, green, yellow... colourful?\u201d \u201cWhere do I see my preference in my own leadership behaviour?\u201d and \u201cIn which areas would I like to develop as a leader?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-249840 size-full alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/staging.socius.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/FmH_Staebchen_uebung-300x169-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/>One of my favourite exercises in the leadership module is the \u201cstaff exercise\u201d. The dynamics during the exercise particularly impressed me this time and gave us lots of ideas for discussing our own approaches to power and responsibility, competition and collaboration, trust and control. It also invited us to explore our personal approach to emotions in our own leadership behaviour.<\/p>\n<p>In this module, we also introduced intervision groups. Using the classic method of <a href=\"https:\/\/staging.socius.de\/en\/the-renaissance-of-collegial-counselling\/\">collegial case consultation<\/a> This allows participants to stay in touch between the seven three-day seminars and beyond, share topics and problems they encounter in their everyday management work with colleagues, and gain new ideas for difficult situations.<br \/>After the participants tried out the method for the first time, I saw happy, astonished faces that were grateful for completely new insights and creative impulses for problems in everyday management that had long seemed unsolvable. Sometimes collegial case consultation seems a bit like magic to me!<\/p>\n<p>I am already looking forward to the upcoming module in November, where we will spend three days intensively focusing on the topic of communication and leadership with my wonderful colleague. <a href=\"https:\/\/ulrike-jaeger.de\/\">Ulrike Jaeger<\/a> will dedicate ourselves to.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Next year will see the third edition of our annual training course, \u201cLeading with Attitude\u201d.
